Assessor Office

I like to welcome you to be a part of the series of the information shows
that the Seekonk board of assessor are doing better to inform residents of how the assessor department operates within the govt work for you. This video will be posted on channel 9 and will be also available sometime on the website in the near future.

Remember that you can always call the assessor dept with questions at 508-336-2980 or visit our website at www.seekonk.info

The information for this video was gathered with input from the dept of revenue, the division of local services and the Seekonk assessor office. Tonight show will focus on Seekonk assessor website and how to navigate through it.

As you can see, the website is http://csc-ma.us/Seekonk, which can found on Seekonk.info; It’s the assessor consolidation site where we have a lot of detailed information including making tax payment, tax rates for the current fiscal year and links to real estate lot maps.

The first page shows the Seekonk board of assessor, the contact number, the full time assessor, the assistant, the office number, the tax rates. Our office is always open. To see the real estate lot maps, you have to click on the link here. You will also need the acrobat reader to view the pdf file.

You can click on the parcel you are interested in looking at. For example, when you click on parcel 26, you will see the map where you can zoom in, zoom out and pan around when you click the “plus” button icon until you reach the desired lot. You can also search for street by typing the street name in the “find” field, and the street name will then be highlighted and you can click on that.

If you want to click on the public access to real property parcel information, it will take you to the information about the property that you are looking at. You will need to put in the street number, street name, don’t put street because it doesn’t work, just the street name, don’t put extension. You can just put the 3 letters of the name of the street, it should work that way. And then they will bring up the parcel.
