SEEKONK BOARD OF HEALTH

Urgent need for volunteers from all walks of life to receive training and credentialing to help your community.

As the H1N1 influenza and upcoming seasonal flu demands continue to create a public health response this fall.  The Seekonk MRC needs ten non-medical volunteers for every medical volunteer.  Credentialed and trained volunteers who are part of the response team will be eligible for H1N1 and seasonal flu vaccine when it arrives in Massachusetts.  It is estimated that half of the Massachusetts population will be eligible for H1N1 vaccine.  Volunteers are needed to assist public health response for seasonal flu, pneumococcal and H1N1 flu vaccination clinics.  Pre-credentialing and training are required now to be ready when the vaccine arrives. We need you today!!
