BOARD OF HEALTH AGENT

The Town of Seekonk is seeking a Health Agent for the Board of Health.  Must have a working knowledge of MA Title 5 and related environmental and public health ordinances. Requires a Bachelors Degree in Public Health, Environmental Health, Biology, or other science field & 3 yrs experience in a Public Health or Environmental Field or education & experience that equals or exceeds this requirement. RS or CHO preferred. Must have valid drivers license.  Job description available upon request.

JOB DESCRIPTION

SECRETARY

CONSERVATION COMMISSION

The Town of Seekonk is accepting resumes for a part-time secretary for the Conservation Commission.  The position is 10 hours per week at a rate of $13.00 per hour. The qualifications required are a High School graduation with business school or other specialized training in secretarial skills or 3 to 5 years responsible experience and education demonstrating ability to perform secretarial duties and ability to meet and deal with the public.  Demonstrated ability to type 60-80 wpm.  Ability to operate a computer terminal and printer using Microsoft Word and Excel computer software.  Highly organized and self motivated.  For a complete job description contact Sue Mallon at smallon@seekonk-ma.gov  call 508-336-2944.  Please mail resume and cover letter to the Seekonk Conservation Commission, 100 Peck Street Seekonk, MA 02771.  The position will remain open until it is filled.
